thanks to amy....she is making me post on here so here it goes:
OUR PLANE TICKETS ARE BOOKED!!!!!!!! PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!
I guess God has me sharing this part of the journey with you all because he taught me alot through it all and grew my faith in Him.......As soon God opeaned the door for us all to go to africa I had to begin asking my self "HOw big is your GOd" and while I know he is HUGE and that he will provide.......I have to admit that I began to wonder how I would book my ticket since I had no credit card and it seemed like no other option......it took the encouragement of my roomies and much prayer and me remembering that God is who He says He is and that will never change......I went to bed on a thursday night praying that God would grow my faith and i would wake up and walk in victory knowing that God's proimises are true......well I went to bed and no more than 10 min later Amy walked through my door and asked me, " How big is your GOd?" before I could respond she told me that "someone" had said they would put our tickets on their credit card...........PRAISE GOD!!!!!! I was speehless and all i could do was thank the Lord and praise Him!!!!
so when it came to booking our tickets we also had to trust GOd that he would provide opeanings on a couple of flights for us and of course HE DID!!!!! It is not in His nature to fail!!!!!!!
TO God BE THE GLORY: Our tickets are booked......and they were 200 dollars cheaper than what we were first told............GOD loves his children and is full of grace and mercy!!!!!
We serve a mighty GOd!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our Theme Song...
You have been so good to me,
How can i find the words to thank you,
Healer of broken hearts, And broken dreams,
Lord i will never seize to praise you.
With you all things are possible.
Like an eagle,i can soar,
With you the giants fall.
They rise no more.
With you i overcome,
When fear and faith collide,
There's nothing i cant do.
Anything is possible with you.
I am constantly amazed.
You are a god forever faithful.
And i look back on my history of grace,
Could not be anything but greatful.
With you all things are possible,
Like an eagle i can soar.
With you the giants fall,
They rise no more.
With you i overcome.
When fear and faith collide,
There's nothing i cant do.
Anything is possible with you.
No mountain is to high,
Theres no valley thats to deep.
Youre calling me to walk that way,
So i will take the lead.
With you all things are possible,
Like an eagle i can soar.
With you the giants fall,
They rise no more.
With you i overcome,
When fear and faith collide,
There's nothing i cant do.
With you all things are possible,
Like an eagle i can soar.
With you the giants soar,
The rise no more.
With you i overcome,
When fear and faith collide,
There's nothing i cant do.
Anything is possible in you.
As we prepare for this journey we are on...this song is the cry of our hearts. We trust that God is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all we can ask or think and we are believing Him to do just that in each one of our lives...so we can Glorify His Name!
This coming August we will be travelling to Zambia, Africa to serve at Kafulafuta Baptist Mission. There was a need for cooks to serve the teams that are coming over for the mission's 20th anniversary celebration and we said "Here am I, send me!"
This blog is to document our journey there. We pray that it will be inspiring of Who our Almighty God is as we tell our story of His Awesome Power at work in our lives. To Him be all the Glory for what He has done and what He will do!
